Following a very successful 5month loan period, striker FERGUS ALBERTS has secured his permanent future with the club, despite considerable interest from Highland League and top Junior clubs.

Agreement has been reached with Turriff United for the transfer and manager Alfie Youngson is delighted to have Fergus onboard, having tried to get the players services previously.

Fergus joined Dyce FC on loan from Turriff United in the New Year and scored a superb 18 goals across the 26 games he played.

A pedigree player, Fergus has had spells with Huntly, Montrose Roselea and Inverurie Locos before joining Turriff, but his prowess in front of goal has really flourished in the Blue and White Hoops and we look forward to seeing Fergus kick on further next season.

“I’m absolutely delighted to have the big man onboard” commented Alfie, “I’ve also thought he offered something special, and just needed a run of games and good service to prove that. He has done everything we asked during his loan spell, and we are excited for how he will go again next season.”

Already a fan favourite, everyone at the club welcomes Fergus to Ian Mair Park and here’s hoping he bring the success we and he deserves.
